Around 30 engineering alumni attended a visit to Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT) on 23 July 2011 to learn its extensive research scope including robotics and automation, electronics and sensors, electrical vehicles and control, biomedical equipment, and digital simulation. SIAT is a national level research institute jointly established by the Shenzhen Municipal Government, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the CUHK in 2006 and our professors have actively involved in the research activities in SIAT providing substantial contributions in knowledge and technology advancement.
