The 90th Congregation for the Conferment of Master’s and Doctoral Degrees of the Faculty of Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) was held successfully on 5th November, 2021. Taking the precautionary measures, the Faculty held the graduation ceremony to celebrate the achievements and good work of the graduates in 2021 and let their relatives and friends witnessed the important moment in their life. Addressing the Congregation, Professor Martin D.F. Wong, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, congratulated the graduates, encouraging them to follow their hearts and help solving the world’s challenges with knowledge and technologies. “Countries all over the world are focusing on innovation and technology. Equipped with the comprehensive engineering education from CUHK, you all are in a good position to change the world.” Professor Wong said. The Faculty of Engineering conferred 405 Master’s degrees, and 143 Doctoral degrees from 14 academic programmes in 2021, offered by the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Department of Electronic Engineering, Department of Information Engineering, Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering, Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management, and Division of Financial Technology.
