Professor Anthony Man-Cho So from Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management (SEEM), together with Professor Krishnakumar Balasubramanian (UC Davis Department of Statistics), Dr. Shixiang Chen (former CUHK SEEM PhD student), Dr. Jiaxiang Li, Professor Shiqian Ma (former CUHK SEEM academic staff), and Professor Tong Zhang (The University of Hong Kong), received the 2024 INFORMS Computing Society (ICS) Prize at the 2024 INFORMS Annual Meeting for their "path-breaking work in Riemannian Optimization".
