    科研近年被視作香港發展新出路,中文大學工程學院及理學院宣布為了培育STEM(科學、科技、工程和數學)人才,將由明年收生階段開始推行一項特別入學措施,學生如在文憑試中於STEM類選修科目表現優秀,即使未達最低入學要求,即四個核心科目為三三二二,亦有機會被取錄。中大指,計劃將利用額外的彈性收生學額,不會減低其他學生的取錄機會。
