創辦人曾是香港寬頻「Top Sales」

Cetah一直有點神秘。記者在網上找資料，最初只找到一個facebook專頁，記者嘗試聯絡專頁的管理員，起初對方只說「沒有回應」及「請留意公布」。後來Cetah創辦人答應受訪，卻兩度稱因程式未準備好而改期。訪問當天，創辦人一直不願多提自己背景，直到尾聲他才說自己叫馮錦強。

中大生建意見平台 創業賽港區奪冠

【專題籽】改善學童記憶力　中大生迷宮app攞獎

特殊學習需要（Special Educational Needs,SEN）學童，即是在認知、情緒、行為或溝通等發展有障礙的孩子。包括自閉症、專注力失調及過度活躍症、讀寫障礙和語言發展遲緩等，但智商與一般學童無異，往往因集中力不足等問題而被標籤。四名中文大學學生，去年設計了一個迷宮遊戲的手機程式，助他們改善記憶力，走出學習胡同。

Engineering Job Fair 2016

To help students explore career interests, the Faculty of Engineering held a three-day Engineering Job Fair on campus from 27 to 29 January. Over 80 exhibitors drew over 2,000 engineering students to the event. There were on-spot interviews and job offers given to students during the event. The Centre for Innovation and Technology also set up a booth to showcase its Faculty Placement and Internship Programme on the podium of the Ho Sin-Hang Engineering Building, as well as introducing its role of offering a direct communication channel between engineering students and potential employers.

Hong Kong Science and Technology Park Visit

Around 20 ELITE students visited the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park (HKSTP) on 5 February 2016. The group visited the Smart Living Exhibition and was shown the latest green technologies in the facilities.

HKSTP has also invited Mr. Rico Chan of Businsoft Limited to share his entrepreneurial experience to our students.

中大生寫app 實戰科學園

梁特上月讀《施政報告》時，指政府會預留20億予創科局，資助發展科研，發展手機應用程式將成為年輕人的創業主流。 就讀中大電腦學系的Calvin，透過參與科學園的實習計劃，在文憑試學習app「DSE Wiki」當實習生，負責編寫程式的工作，善用課餘累積寫app經驗，為投身資訊科技界做好準備。

元朗鄉村走出半導體封裝之父

有「現代半導體封裝之父」及「高錕第二」之稱的中大工程學院院長汪正平，2000年獲美國國家工程學院頒授院士，2013年獲選中國工程院外籍院士。他說，美國工程院較注重對社會的影響性，如節省金錢、改善環境等，着重於所做的研究對社會有貢獻；中國工程院除注重工程貢獻外，亦會看重對國家的貢獻，如直接或間接協助國家的工程。擁65項專利 人稱「高錕第二」
